Ingredients:

1 cup Torborgee beans (washed and soaked)

1 lb assorted meats (goat, beef, smoked turkey, or tripe)

1/4 cup red palm oil

1 scotch bonnet pepper

1 small onion (chopped)

1 Maggi cube (or seasoning of choice)

Salt to taste

1/2 tsp baking soda (optional, for softness)
Instructions:

Boil soaked Torborgee beans in water until tender (approx. 45 mins).

In a separate pot, boil meat with onion, salt, and seasoning until cooked.

Add palm oil, boiled beans, and chili to the meat.

Stir continuously to prevent burning; mash some beans for a thicker texture.

Simmer until soup thickens and oil rises to the surface.
