🍽️ Ghanaian Recipe: Tapioca Porridge ("Tapioca Pap")

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Nina Tapioca (Precooked Cassava)

  • 2 cups water

  • 1 cup evaporated milk

  • 2 tablespoons sugar (adjust to taste)

  • ½ teaspoon nutmeg (optional)

  • Pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Soak the tapioca in water for 15–20 minutes.

  2. Bring to a gentle boil, stirring occasionally.

  3. Add a pinch of salt and nutmeg. Simmer until translucent and soft.

  4. Stir in the evaporated milk and sugar.

  5. Serve warm with bread, peanuts, or fried dough (bofrot).
