Recipe: Wrewre Soup (Egusi Soup – Ghana Style)
Ingredients:

1 cup roasted wrewre (ground)

1/2 lb goat meat or chicken
-
1/2 smoked fish (optional)

1 small onion
-
2 tomatoes
-
1 tbsp tomato paste
-
1 tbsp ground crayfish
-
1 tsp pepper (to taste)

Salt and seasoning cubes

1/4 cup palm oil
-
1-2 cups water
Instructions:

Blend onion, tomatoes, and pepper.

In a pot, heat palm oil and fry the tomato blend and paste until well-cooked.

Add meat, smoked fish, seasoning, and crayfish. Simmer until meat is tender.

Stir in the ground wrewre and a bit of water. Cook while stirring until thickened.

Serve hot with eba, rice balls, or fufu.
