Ingredients:

2 cups water (for mixing)

2 more cups boiling water

Sugar or honey (to taste)

Optional: ground cloves, ginger, or black pepper

Evaporated milk (optional)
Instructions:

In a bowl, mix 1/2 cup Hausa Koko powder with 2 cups of room temperature water until smooth.

Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a pot.

Gradually pour the cold mixture into the boiling water while stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
