Baraka Chai – Chai Upendayo
Baraka Chai is a bold and aromatic black tea blend loved across East Africa. Swahili Tea Recipe:

Chai ya Maziwa (Swahili Spiced Milk Tea)

Ingredients:

• 2 cups water

• 2 cups milk

• 2 tbsp Baraka Chai

• 1–2 cardamom pods (crushed)

• 1 small cinnamon stick

• Sugar to taste

Instructions:

1. Bring water, milk, and spices to a simmer.

2. Add Baraka Chai leaves and let steep for 5–7 minutes.

3. Strain and sweeten with sugar.

4. Serve hot with mandazi or bread.
